Ask a new question. I have a strangest question to ask? Previously, I have made several slide presentations which audio was included, within PowerPoint version. I then stored the presentation with all the relevant files related to the presentation in one folder for future use. In the past with PowerPoint presentations have played back perfectly from that folder. Recently, I have upgraded office and PowerPoint to I have now completed a new presentation which includes audio. This was currently on the desktop.
When I tried to move the presentation into the file that I created with the relevant information of the presentation.
On opening the presentation from the folder, the audio automatically plays without the slides changing. A uninstall and reinstall was carried out, whether to see if there were some problems with the programme.
I hasten to add the issue is not resolved. I have since moved the presentation back to the original destination- the desktop and now seem to play satisfactory. I would be very grateful if anyone can any one assist me on this matter? Welcome to Microsoft Community and appreciate your time taken for sharing detailed information. According to your description, I guess you want to know why your new presentation cannot be played normally.
Please correct me if you get you wrong. And "I have since moved the presentation back to the original destination- the desktop and now seem to play satisfactory. So my suggestion is that use the latest version to play your newly created presentation. And you can also check if the old presentations can be played through PowerPoint Was this reply helpful?
Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. There is no version is there? In and audio files are embedded by default. Thank you for your replies of which I very grateful. I did state the upgrade was office which should have said for which I apologise for stating so.
What I was trying to say; I created the new presentation on the desktop with Power point Also, on the desktop a new folder was created containing photos audio files and other information etc to be used in the presentation. After completion, I moved the PowerPoint presentation into that folder. I had tried everything that I could think of to make it work properly. Unfortunately, nothing that I was doing was rectifying the situation. Then I looked up forums, u tubes to see whether something that I had missed.
The nearest possible answer was that the PowerPoint may have been corrupted? I uninstalled office , re installed just to try to prove to myself; played back my old presentations that I had done in , they all worked. Also , I also tried to play back the presentation that I currently have finished which did not play.
Finally, I downloaded a fresh copy of and to my amassment the presentation worked as normal. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. HI I have a strangest question to ask?
